NYU Arthur L. Carter Journlism Institute - Weekend Workshop Series

This workshop will introduce a basic understanding of HTML elements, the steel frame of every website. From there we'll learn about styling your webpage with different types of HTML elements (anchor tags, lists, images, etc). After gaining understanding of the structure of these elements, we'll use CSS to enhance the style and learn some tricks for tweaking pages in the web browser.

About the Instructor:

ANDREA URIST works as a web developer for a boutique hotel group in New York and manages a number of revenue generating websites. Previously she worked as a consultant, developing websites for many clients including Viacom, Liz Claiborne Industries, United Nations, and various different industries including pharma, education, IT and interior design.


This event is free for currently-enrolled NYU journalism students as well as journalism faculty and staff. Alumni may attend for a $45 fee.
